Sponsored placements
- Enhanced profile. A vendor can add their own material, screenshots, a demo video, documents, a statement and a contact button, to their own profile in a labeled “From the vendor” section, and the same material appears in their column on the comparison pages they are part of. The independent part of the profile does not change.
- Featured placement. A labeled row pinned above the provider list on the home page, below the platinum sponsor. Limited and offered first come.
- Platinum sponsorship. A single site-wide sponsor holds the top home placement plus labeled modules on comparison, best-of and pricing pages. These modules never appear on a comparison the sponsor is itself part of.
Each placement carries a label and links back to this page. Full details and pricing are on the vendor page. If you cannot tell whether something is paid, report it.
What sponsorship does not change
- Rankings and scores. The site does not rank providers, and no one can pay to rank higher.
- Inclusion. Appearing in the directory is free and independent of any payment.
- Fit assessments, caveats, and community sentiment. These are written independently and cannot be softened for payment.
- Filter and comparison results. What matches a buyer’s filters is decided by the data.
